Hollow Form Object - Concepts

This was the first concept I created. I went fairly simple with the shapes, just rotating the tall structures around a ring. I heavily reference the examples that were posted for this first one before I got comfortable experimenting with less conventional and more bold designs.

The second concept I made when SubD was introduced, and I played around with morphing a box to the point where it didn't resemble a box anymore. I took the shape and rotated it and added a torus.

the next two I grouped together as they both used similar techniques. I took a bit of inspiration from Newtons Pendulum with the spheres and made connecting bridges to make this really satisfying effect.

The next one was inspired by plants. I made these organic, leaf-like shapes by lofting a bunch of random shapes I made using the polyline tool and then added lofted tall structures in the center to mimic

The last one didn't have much of a direction like the other ones. I started by making another shape using loft and then rotating it. After that I just started adding other things like the toruses and morphing the mesh.
